Director of Nursing — I am entering my second year here at Riverview Senior Resort. I have always had a passion for helping others and I chose a career in nursing for that reason. My journey in Assisted Living started 22 years ago when I was 16. While in High School, I began working at a local Assisted Living Community, and immediately I knew this career path was for me. From there I went on to Nursing school and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. I can truly say I love what I do. Confucius famously said, “Choose a job you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life”. Personally, if I had to describe who I am as a man I would sum it up in three words, Faith, Family, and Football.
Director of Plant Operations — Steve takes great pride in his role as a Director of Plant Opertations at RiverView. His goal is to know all of the residents on a first name basis. Nobody is ever just a number or a stranger to him. His is an outdoorsman and a father of two boys, Leland, who is 7, and Sterling, who was born March 4, 2019. He grew up in Brevard County, met his wife at Melbourne High School, and he intends to raise his children here. He loves his Country, his family and this community.
Life Enrichment Director - Laisa Rosado was born in Worcester, Massachusetts. She moved to Florida in 2003. Laisa is very passionate about her job and likes to make sure our residents are always having fun.
Business Office Manager -Shalonda Alves is the business office manager here at Riverview Senior Resort. Residents and staff call her “Shae” for short. Shae has over 20 years of experience as an Office Manager and she uses her organizational skills to ensure that our office operates smoothly. Although her day-to-day duties keep her busy, she will always make time to stop and cut a rug with our residents, especially when live music is involved.
